The Walkers came down to Jackson Hole for a vow renewal portrait session and romantic getaway in the crisp autumn air of the Grand Teton National Park. I had the absolute honor of documenting their reaffirmation of love for one another, and it was a beautiful and heartwarming time to witness the couple.
The Walkers have been married for 3 years but you wouldn’t know that by just looking at them — I got the impression of two people who have known each other forever! The way they communicated, held the other, and even just looked at each other belied a bond between two people who were simply meant to be together. Plus, amidst the changing fall foliage of the Tetons, everything felt as though it was truly picture perfect. Not to mention that the Walkers perfectly understood the assignment and were dressed in muted tones and elegant clothes that really connected with the background.
My favorite picture from this vow renewal portrait session is one of the two of them laughing at the overlook — it started to snow and a snowflake landed on Morgan’s eyelash, which made them both laugh. It’s the small, sweet moments like these that you really cherish in a relationship. It feels almost miraculous, just like meeting the person you’re standing next to.
If you, too, want to cherish (and make!) the best memories with your loved ones, head down to Jackson Hole for a couple of days and contact me to capture those moments! The fall season is arguably one of the most picturesque times of the year to visit, with the brilliant spectrum of colors on display. I can also offer prints from our session for you to hang up on your walls and remember forever!
