The Grand Teton National Park holds a special place in my heart – and I’m grateful it is a big part of my job! Proposal sessions are among my absolute favorite kind of sessions to organize because I feel honored to know that I’ve been chosen to perform a crucial task for one of the most important moments of a couple’s life together. That’s exactly why I was ecstatic when Alex contacted me to set up a proposal session for his girlfriend Rachael.
The great thing about Teton summers is… well, everything! The sun casts its warm rays over the magnificent landscape, the flora shines unabashedly through in every picture, and the vibrant colors and hues all come together to make the setting absolutely perfect! I’m sure that’s why Alex chose it as the place to propose and I hope the two remember it as a beautiful, breathtaking moment. It certainly looked like one – they couldn’t stop smiling and giggling, and the photographs came out with them looking irrevocably in love with each other.
Although it’s difficult to choose just the one from all the photographs I took, I have to say my favorite is the one of them kissing while Alex is still kneeling on the ground because that’s the moment, they both knew they were going to spend the rest of their lives together! It might not be the most picture-perfect of them all, but the emotions contained within it shine through so clearly that it doesn’t need much else.
