Some sessions start with a story that goes back decades. For the Moormans, it started with a honeymoon in Grand Teton National Park 25 years ago.
They’ve come back to these mountains every five years since. Always together. Always marking another chapter. Their daughter loved the place so much she ended up at college in Montana. This year, the three of them traveled from Texas to celebrate the anniversary that started it all. They wanted photos that held the connection between their family and the landscape that’s been woven into their story from the very beginning.
We met at Schwabacher Landing while frost was still on the ground and the valley was barely awake. As the sun came up, the peaks turned pink and the Tetons reflected perfectly in the water below. We had maybe 45 minutes of that quiet, golden morning together. Just the three of them in their warm layers, walking through the sage, standing at the water’s edge, holding on to each other with the mountains behind them. The kind of morning you don’t forget.
Why Printed Art Matters
Five of those photographs now hang in the Moormans’ entryway, framed on Musea etched paper.
This is why I do what I do. A digital file lives on a phone. But a printed gallery on your wall becomes part of your daily life. It’s the first thing your family sees when they walk through the front door. That’s the difference.
Here’s what the Moormans had to say: “We were thrilled with the experience, with Jenna, and with the resulting photos that captured our love of family and of the mountains.”
