Kendall has grown up loving this town, these mountains, the feeling of being here. She said it best herself: “Jackson has always been my little piece of Heaven on earth.” So when it was time to mark the end of high school, there was really only one place that made sense.
She’s a cheerleader. She’s a family person through and through. And she showed up to her session the way people do when they’re comfortable in a place, relaxed, present, not performing.
The Tetons gave us the backdrop, but Kendall gave us the warmth. There’s a steadiness to her that came through in every frame. She knows who she is and where she feels most herself, and she wanted her portraits to reflect that.
This is such a brief window. The last summer before everything shifts. Senior year ends and suddenly the person your family has known for eighteen years is building a life somewhere else. Kendall’s family understood that. They didn’t just want photos. They wanted something to hold on to.
Something You Can Hold
Kendall’s family invested in a handmade album with space in the back for family and friends to write her a note. It’s not just a collection of portraits. It’s a keepsake that will filled with the words of the people who love her most, right alongside the photographs that show exactly who she was at eighteen. The kind of thing she’ll reach for ten years from now and be glad it exists.
