A quick Teton family portrait session is perfect for a family on the move. The Burchams asked me to capture a few photos to remember their time together in Jackson Hole. After a weekend of skiing and snowmobiling, Brent and Lou Anna arrived with their kids in tow, ready for one more adventure. And what better way to cap off a snowy Wyoming vacation than with family photos at beautiful Taggart Lake Trailhead?
The iconic landscape of Grand Teton National Park is the perfect canvas for a session like this. Every family brings their own individual style to their session, and my photos reflect that. In case you can’t tell, this family is fun! Kids Austin, Ariel, and Lyla brought the laughs, especially when Lyla fell headfirst into the snow. To her credit, there’s no shortage of snow to break your fall around here! I love that you can practically hear the joy in these photos. We were even able to sneak in some couples shots for Brent and Lou Anna, which practically counts as a date, right?
Lasting memories with Grand Teton Portrait Sessions
Families are at their best when they’re candidly themselves. As a photographer, I know that while photo sessions are, of course, meant to document memories, they’re also about the experience itself. Simply put: time together is never time wasted. It is an honor to tell the unique stories of the families I work with and the Burchams allowed me to do just that.
Do you have an upcoming vacation or staycation in the works? Planning family photos in the time of COVID can be daunting! I can help make it easy with safe, outdoor sessions that capture the magic of the Tetons. Contact me to learn more about Teton family portrait session and book yours today.
