As a natural light photographer, I am always looking for the perfect day, weather, time, and location to capture a session that will look beautiful on camera. Luckily, since we live so close to Grand Tetons, we are on the edge of some of the United States’ best sights.
As my clients know, I am passionate about matching the perfect family with their ideal backdrop. I work hard to find spots that will make my clients comfortable and make the session fun. That’s why I always consider travel time, age of clients (we don’t want too many kids by a rushing river, for example!), and ability (no mountain climbs at random here!).
Grand Teton National Park is the perfect starting point for my clients looking for that perfect outdoor nature session. We will chat before your session to decide on the perfect spot. Not sure where to start? No worries! I am happy to offer suggestions based on my super-secret exploring trips, giving you a unique and secluded spot.
The Grand Tetons is Home to Thousands of Locations for Stunning Photos
No matter the season, there are thousands of swoon-worthy spots to capture your family photos. Just like the Palisades Reservoir, it takes on a different identity depending on the season. Here are a few must-see spots if you are considering a national parks session:
- Jackson Lake Lodge
- Signal Mountain
- Cascade Canyon Turnout
- Oxbow Bend
- Mormon Row
- Schwabacher Landing
- Blacktail Pond Overlook
- Snake River Overlook
- Downtown Jackson, WY
- Teton Village
Obviously, if you’re a local, you know that there are not enough days in the year to see all of the beautiful locations in the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Jackson. Let’s face it: we live in a place where panoramic views are the norm, day hikes are out your front door, views of the Teton are easily taken for granted.
Now is the time to take advantage of the surrounding beauty! Send me an email to schedule a session.
